(Netgear), of Santa Clara, California, concerning procurements (Solicitation Nos. EN869-071122/M [RVD211], EN869-071122/Q [RVD214], EN869-060299/E [RVD224], EN869-060299/L [RVD233] and EN869-060299/W [RVD260]) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC). The solicitations are for networking equipment. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal has decided to conduct an inquiry into the complaints.

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the Federal Court of Appeal’s judgment (A-128-07) of January 29, 2008, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) is initiating an inquiry (File No. PR-2006-045R) into whether the bid submitted by Les Systèmes Equinox Inc. (Equinox) was improperly evaluated. When investigating bias, the Tribunal will consider bias for and against both Equinox and LGS Group Inc.

The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on May 27, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at the Matrix Hotel Edmonton, 10001-107 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, to consider the following applications.
PREAMBLE
The Commission would like to point out that it will consider the radio applications for the Drumheller and Red Deer markets during the week of May 27, 2008, and those for the Edmonton market during the week of June 2, 2008.

On November 14, 2007, the Commission issued Broadcasting Public Notices CRTC 2007-127 and CRTC 2007-128, calling for applications for a broadcasting licence to carry on a radio programming undertaking to serve Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta.
On November 22, 2007, the Commission issued Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2007-133, calling for applications for a broadcasting licence to carry on a radio programming undertaking to serve Drumheller, Alberta.
In response to these calls, the Commission has received a number of applications for licences to serve these markets.
