CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF GUELPH

PLANS DEPOSITED

The Corporation of the City of Guelph hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Corporation of the City of Guelph has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Wellington, at Guelph, Ontario, under deposit No. R0821057, a description of the site and plans of the existing Arkell Recharge Dam, located across the Eramosa River, in Lot 3, Concession 10, in the township of Puslinch. Rehabilitation work consisting of the construction of an upstream impervious concrete membrane, the installation of an upstream safety boom, the plugging of existing pipes, the provision of a smooth concrete walking surface across the dam free of irregularities and trip hazards, and upgrades to the existing sluice gates complete with a removable handrail system will also be done. The proposed safety boom will extend from the north bank to the south bank of the Eramosa River.

Comments may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing, are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice and are related to the effects of this work on marine navigation. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

The Corporation of the County of Lanark hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, The Corporation of the County of Lanark has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the Ontario Land Registry Office No. 27, County of Lanark, at Almonte, Ontario, under deposit No. RS216559, a description of the site and plans for the Glen Isle Bridge rehabilitation, located on Glen Isle Road, approximately 0.5 km south of County Road 29, over the Mississippi River.

Comments may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4. LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given that Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan, a Saskatchewan-incorporated provider of wholesale financial services to credit unions, intends to apply to the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 31.1 of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act, for letters patent continuing Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan as an association under the Cooperative Credit Associations Act. This application will contain a request to carry on business under the proposed name “Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan” and the head office will continue to be located in Regina, Saskatchewan.
