Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that The British Aviation Insurance Company Limited intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) on or after June 27, 2011, for the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.

Any policyholder or creditor in respect of The British Aviation Insurance Company Limited’s insurance business in Canada opposing that release must file notice of such opposition with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before June 27, 2011.

The publication of this notice should not be construed as evidence that approval will be issued for the release of assets. The granting of the approval for the release of assets will be dependent upon the normal Insurance Companies Act (Canada) review process and the discretion of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada).

Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal of Nova Scotia has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the Land Registration Office of Inverness County, in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, under deposit No. 98335087, a description of the site and plans for the replacement of the Meat Cove Bridge, over Meat Cove Brook, at Meat Cove, Nova Scotia, in front of 2304 Meat Cove Road.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1013, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia B2Y 4K2. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. ENDURANCE REINSURANCE CORPORATION OF AMERICA

ASSUMPTION REINSURANCE AGREEMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Canadian Branch of Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions on or after July 5, 2011, for approval to cause itself to be reinsured, on an assumption reinsurance basis, against all of the risks undertaken by it in respect of its policies in Canada, by Omega General Insurance Company, pursuant to section 587.1 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada).

A copy of the proposed Assumption Reinsurance Agreement is available to policyholders at the Canadian head office of Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America, located at 36 King Street East, Suite 500, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1E5, during regular business hours for a 30-day period after the date of publication of this notice.
