APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH AN INSURANCE COMPANY

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 25(2) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) that Arch Insurance Company, a Missouri entity, which is an indirectly wholly owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd., a Bermuda entity, intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after September 6, 2011, an application for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent incorporating an insurance company under the name Arch Insurance Canada Ltd., in English, and Arch assurances Canada Ltée, in French, to carry on the business of property, accident and sickness, aircraft, automobile, boiler and machinery, fidelity, hail, legal expense, liability, marine (limited to the servicing of existing policies), surety, credit protection and title insurance in Canada. Its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the proposed incorporation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before September 5, 2011.

The Rural Municipality of Wolseley No. 155 and the Rural Municipality of McLeod No. 185 hereby give notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Rural Municipality of Wolseley No. 155 and the Rural Municipality of McLeod No. 185 have deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the Plan Index System of the Province of Saskatchewan, at Regina, under deposit No. 102058422, a description of the site and plans for the construction of a bridge on a grid road over the Qu’Appelle River, located in the southeast quarter of Section 19, Township 18, Range 09, west of the Second Meridian, in the province of Saskatchewan.

Comments may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 9700 Jasper Avenue, Suite 1100, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 4E6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing, are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice and are related to the effects of this work on marine navigation. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that Seaton Insurance Company intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) on or after September 15, 2011, for the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.

Any policyholder or creditor in respect of Seaton Insurance Company’s insurance business in Canada opposing the release must file notice of such opposition with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before September 15, 2011.
