APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL AS AN EXTERNAL COMPLAINTS BODY

Notice is hereby given, that ADR CHAMBERS OMBUDS INC., a corporation governed by the laws of Canada, intends to apply to the Minister of Finance to obtain approval as an external complaints body pursuant to subsection 455.01(1) of the Bank Act, its purpose being to deal with complaints made by persons having requested or received products or services from banks that have not been resolved to the satisfaction of those persons.

The external complaints body will carry on business in Canada under the name of ADR CHAMBERS BANKING OMBUDS OFFICE in English and ADR CHAMBERS BUREAU DE L’OMBUDSMAN DES SERVICES BANCAIRES in French, and its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Bracebridge Generation Limited hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, Bracebridge Generation Limited has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Hastings (No. 21), at 199 Front Street, Unit 109, Belleville, Ontario K8N 5H5, under deposit No. QR687433, a description of the site and plans for the installation of a proposed new safety boom upstream of an existing dam, and the registration of an existing dam, across the York River, in front of Lot 175, RP 411, 37 Mill Street, in Bancroft, Ontario.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., a foreign bank with its head office in Taipei, Taiwan, gives notice under subsection 525(2) of the Bank Act that it intends to apply to the Minister of Finance for an order permitting it to establish a full-service branch in Canada.

The branch will carry on business under the name Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. and its principal office will be located in Toronto, Ontario. The Long Rapids site is located in the Greenstone Municipality, 21 km from the mouth of the river, where it meets Lake Nipigon.
