The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) has received a complaint (File No. PR-2016-013) from Unisource Technology Inc. (Unisource) of Dorval, Quebec, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W8486-163253/A) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the supply of loudspeakers. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on June 2, 2016, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

Unisource alleges that PWGSC awarded the contract to a bidder whose offer did not comply with certain mandatory technical criteria.

Notice is hereby given that, on May 30, 2016, pursuant to paragraph 76.01(5)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal continued its finding (Interim Review No. RD-2013-003) without amendment made on November 20, 2012, in Inquiry No. NQ-2012-001 concerning liquid dielectric transformers having a top power handling capacity equal to or exceeding 60 000 kilovolt amperes (60 megavolt amperes), whether assembled or unassembled, complete or incomplete, originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea.
