PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT
ARCHIVED — Order Designating Shared Services Canada as
a Department and the President as the Deputy Head for Purposes of the Act

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby
- (a) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “department” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act (see footnote a), designates Shared Services Canada as a department for the purposes of that Act, and
- (b) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “deputy head” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act (see footnote b) , designates the President of Shared Services Canada as the deputy head of that entity for the purposes of that Act,
effective August 4, 2011.
