SPECIAL IMPORT MEASURES ACT
Certain unitized wall modules — Decisions
Pursuant to paragraph 35(1)(b) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), the Canadian International Trade Tribunal concluded, with respect to unitized wall modules, with or without infill, including fully assembled frames, with or without fasteners, trims, cover caps, window operators, gaskets, load transfer bars, sunshades and anchor assemblies, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, that the evidence does not disclose a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of the subject goods have caused injury or retardation or are threatening to cause injury.
Therefore, on September 17, 2012, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to paragraph 35(2)(a) of SIMA, terminated the investigations of dumping and subsidizing in respect of certain unitized wall modules originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.
