LETTERS PATENT OF INCORPORATION AND LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE
Notice is hereby given that Cidel Bank & Trust Inc., a bank under the laws of Barbados, intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (the “Superintendent”), on or after May 20, 2013, an application pursuant to section 25 of the Bank Act (Canada) for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent incorporating a Schedule II bank pursuant to the Bank Act (Canada) under the name Cidel Bank Canada, in English, and Banque Cidel du Canada, in French, to carry on the business of a bank in Canada. Its head office will be located in the city of Toronto, Ontario.
Notice is also hereby given that Cidel Trust Company, a trust company under the laws of the Province of Alberta, intends to file with the Superintendent, on or after May 20, 2013, an application pursuant to section 24 of the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent continuing Cidel Trust Company as a trust company pursuant to the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) under the name Cidel Trust Company, in English, and Société de fiducie Cidel, in French, to carry on the business of a trust company in Canada. Its head office will be located in the city of Calgary, Alberta.
Any person who objects to the proposed incorporation or continuance may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before June 20, 2013.
