THE BANK OF TOKYO-MITSUBISHI UFJ, LTD.

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH A FOREIGN BANK BRANCH

Notice is hereby given pursuant to subsection 525(2) of the Bank Act that The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., a foreign bank with its head office in Tokyo, Japan, that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc., intends to apply to the Minister of Finance of Canada for an order permitting it to establish a branch in Canada to carry on the business of banking. The branch will carry on business under the name The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., and its principal office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the proposed order may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2 on or before November 3, 2014.

The publication of this notice must not be construed as evidence that an order will be issued to establish the foreign bank branch. The granting of the order will be dependent upon the normal Bank Act application review process and the discretion of the Minister of Finance.

Inc. hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, North Shore Oyster Co. Inc. has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Queens County, at the Jones Building, 11 Kent Street, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, under deposit No. 38175, a description of the site and plans for proposed aquaculture facility No. OB-9488-L, in Conway Narrows, Prince County, Prince Edward Island.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 42, Moncton, New Brunswick E1C 8K6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
