Ministerial Instructions to repeal the Ministerial Instructions established pursuant to section 87.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the management of applications for visas made by individuals who have been in an Ebola affected country
Notice is hereby given, under subsection 87.3(6) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration has made the following Ministerial Instructions that, in the opinion of the Minister, will best support the attainment of the immigration goals established by the Government of Canada. The Instructions are consistent with the IRPA objectives as laid out in section 3 of that Act and are compliant with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Authority for these Ministerial Instructions is pursuant to section 87.3 of the IRPA. Instructions are directed to officers who are charged with handling and/or reviewing applications for permanent or temporary resident visas to enter Canada.
New Ministerial Instructions
The Ministerial Instructions established pursuant to section 87.3 of the IRPA published in the Canada Gazette on October 31, 2014, for the management of applications for visas made by individuals who have been in an Ebola affected country are repealed.
These new Ministerial Instructions come into force on their date of publication in the Canada Gazette. These new Ministerial Instructions apply to applications received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada on or before December 10, 2015, in respect of which a final decision has not been made on December 10, 2015, and, for greater clarity, to all applications received thereafter.

CANADIAN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT, 1999
Notice of extensions granted by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change under subsection 56(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999
Pursuant to subsection 56(4) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, notice is hereby given that the following time extensions were granted under the Notice requiring the preparation and implementation of pollution prevention plans in respect of specified substances on Schedule 1 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, related to the polyurethane and other foam sector (except polystyrene), published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on November 26, 2011.
On November 24, 2015, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change granted to Valle Foam, a division of Vitafoam Products Canada Limited, from Brampton, a time extension of two months to implement the Pollution Prevention Plan. The period to implement the plan is therefore extended to January 31, 2016.
On November 24, 2015, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change granted to Woodbridge Foam Corporation, from Whitby, a time extension of three months to implement the Pollution Prevention Plan. The period to implement the plan is therefore extended to February 28, 2016.

Pursuant to subsections 524(1) and (2) of the Bank Act, the Minister of Finance made an order on December 4, 2015, permitting Natixis to establish a branch in Canada to carry on business in Canada under the name Natixis Canada Branch, in English, and Natixis, succursale canadienne, in French.
