PLANS DEPOSITED
Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, INAC has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Parry Sound (No. 42), at Parry Sound, Ontario, under deposit No. R0219635, a description of the following proposed changes and their site:
- operational restrictions for the Wasauksing Swing Bridge, located on Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, at 99 Rose Point Road, Seguin Township, Ontario, necessary for the preservation of the bridge mechanical unit; and
- implementation of the proposed operational changes until repair or replacement of the bridge.
Proposed operational restrictions are determined by weather conditions and will impact marine travel. Notices regarding any changes in the schedule will be published accordingly.
Comments regarding the effect of this schedule change on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 100 Front Street S, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 2M4, or via email at NPPONT-PPNONT@tc.gc.ca. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 60 days after the date of this notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

RELEASE OF ASSETS
Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that The New India Assurance Company, Limited (“New India”) intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after February 27, 2017, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.
Any policyholder or creditor in respect of New India's insurance business in Canada opposing that release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before February 27, 2017.
