The Ministère des Transports du Québec [the department of transportation of Quebec] hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Pursuant to paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, the Ministère des Transports du Québec has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the office of the District Registrar of the Berthier Land Title Office, at 90 Place du Marché, Berthierville, Quebec J0K 1A0, under deposit number 24 485 177, and at the Registry of the municipality of Mandeville, at 162 Desjardins Street, Mandeville, Quebec J0K 1L0, and at the Registry of the municipality of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, at 5111 Du Lac Road, Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, Quebec J0K 2N0, a description of the site and plans for the demolition of Bridge P-01100 and construction of Bridge P-18970 over the Maskinongé River, on Saint-Augustin Range, in the municipality of Mandeville, and on Saint-Louis Range, in the municipality of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, in lots 4 528 122 and 4 412 201.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 1550 D’Estimauville Avenue, Suite 401, Québec, Quebec G1J 0C8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

CONTINUANCE UNDER THE CANADA BUSINESS CORPORATIONS ACT AND DISCONTINUANCE UNDER THE BANK ACT

In accordance with paragraph 39(2)(a) of the Bank Act (Canada), notice is hereby given of the intention of Zag Bank (the “Bank”), having its head office at 120–6807 Railway Street, Calgary, Alberta, to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) for approval to discontinue as a bank and continue as a corporation under the Canada Business Corporations Act (Canada) pursuant to subsection 39.1(1) of the Bank Act.

Note: The publication of this notice should not be construed as evidence that approval will be issued for the discontinuance. The granting of the approval will be dependent upon the normal Bank Act (Canada) review process and the discretion of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.
