LIBERTY SPECIALTY MARKETS BERMUDA LIMITED

RELEASE OF ASSETS

Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that Liberty Specialty Markets Bermuda Limited intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after January 4, 2020, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.

Any policyholder or creditor in respect of Liberty Specialty Markets Bermuda Limited’s insurance business in Canada opposing such release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Regulatory Affairs Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before January 4, 2020.

ONTARIO POWER GENERATION INC.

DOMINION WATER-POWER APPLICATION

Ontario Power Generation Inc. hereby gives notice that on November 28, 2019, an application was filed with the Director of Water-Power, Parks Canada Agency, under the Dominion Water Power Act, for the issuance of eight replacement licences to continue to operate the existing Ontario Power Generation Inc. power developments located at or near: Healey Falls Lock 17; Hagues Reach Lock 10; Sidney Lock 2; Seymour Lock 13; Meyersburg Lock 9; Frankford Lock 5; and Ranney Falls at Lock 11/12 located along the Trent–Severn Waterway National Historic Site and Merrickville at or near the Merrickville Lock Station along the Rideau Canal National Historic Site.

Under the Dominion Water Power Act, interested parties are encouraged to provide comments or objections in writing within 30 days of this notice to the Director of Water-Power, Parks Canada Agency, by email to lorrie.marlow@canada.ca or by regular mail to the Director of Water-Power, Parks Canada Agency, 30 Victoria Street, (PC-05-H), Gatineau, Quebec J8X 0B3.
