RELEASE OF ASSETS
Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that AXA Insurance Company intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after February 22, 2020, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.
Any policyholder or creditor in respect of AXA Insurance Company’s insurance business in Canada opposing such release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Regulatory Affairs Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before February 22, 2020.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 13, 2020, the Honourable Mr. Justice Jean-Yves Lalonde, J.S.C., rendered a judgment in the matter of the winding-up of Kansa General International Insurance Company Ltd., formerly Kansa General Insurance Company, (hereinafter “Kansa”), in Canada, in the Court file bearing number 500-05-002760-955:
- (a) approving the release of any balance of the assets of Kansa in Canada by Ferdinand Alfieri, CPA,CA, liquidator of Kansa in Canada (hereinafter the “Liquidator”) to:

- (c) declaring that the Liquidator is not liable to any person for any claim;
- (d) discharging Ferdinand Alfieri as Liquidator and the inspectors; and
- (e) ordering that no suit, action or other proceeding lies against Ferdinand Alfieri, personally or in his capacity as Liquidator, and the inspectors, unless they acted in bad faith or committed an intentional or gross fault.

LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE
Notice is hereby given that Odyssey Trust Company (the “Company”), incorporated pursuant to the Loan and Trust Corporations Act (Alberta) with its head office in Calgary, Alberta, intends to make an application pursuant to section 31 of the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) [the “TLCA”] for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent continuing the Company as a trust company under the TLCA with the legal name “Odyssey Trust Company” in the English form.
Any person who objects to the proposed continuance may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before March 16, 2020.

In accordance with paragraph 236(2)(a) of the Bank Act (Canada), notice is hereby given of the intention of Zag Bank (the “Bank”), having its head office at 120–6807 Railway Street, Calgary, Alberta, to apply to the federal Minister of Finance for approval of the sale agreement between the Bank and Desjardins Trust Inc. (“Desjardins Trust”) whereby the Bank will sell all or substantially all of its assets to Desjardins Trust pursuant to subsection 232(1) of the Bank Act. Certain deposit liabilities of the Bank that are being transferred to Desjardins Trust contain non-assignment clauses.
