Notice of intention to expropriate — Lac-Mégantic Railway bypass [Nantes]
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Her Majesty in right of Canada requires, for the purposes of the construction and exploitation of a railway bypassing the downtown area of Lac-Mégantic, all the lands hereinafter designated located in the municipality of Nantes, in the province of Quebec, including immovable real rights in these lands, which, for the purpose of the Expropriation Act, include all rights of any lessees, namely:
ARTICLE 1. OWNER: CABANE À SUCRE MÉGANTIC S.E.N.C.

The lands designated above in the articles 1 to 5 are shown on the general plan bearing number M2022-10870 in the records of Public Works and Government Services, prepared by Maxime Bourgeois, land surveyor, on December 21st, 2022, bearing number 11779 of his minutes, which is attached to this notice.
HER MAJESTY IN RIGHT OF CANADA intends to expropriate all the lands mentioned above in the articles 1 to 5, including immovable real rights in these lands, which, for the purpose of the Expropriation Act, include all rights of any lessees for the needs of the department of Transport Canada.
HER MAJESTY IN RIGHT OF CANADA asks the Land Registrar to register in the land register this notice and the plan attached hereto for the lands designated above in the articles 1 to 5.

Any person who objects to the intended expropriation of the above-mentioned rights may, within thirty (30) days from the day upon which this Notice of Intention to Expropriate is published in the Canada Gazette, forward by registered mail to, or leave at, the Office of the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, Attention: Regional Director General, Place Bonaventure, South-West Portal, 800 de la Gauchetière Street West, Suite 7300, Montréal, Province of Quebec, H5A 1L6, an objection in writing stating the name and address of such person and indicating the nature of his or her objection and the nature of his or her interest in the matter of this intended expropriation.
