His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 37 of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (see footnote a), makes the annexed Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples Regulations.

Interpretation
Definition of infant feeding bottle nipple
1 In these Regulations, infant feeding bottle nipple includes a similar product that is put in the mouth of an infant during use.
Requirement
Limit of volatile N-nitrosamines
2 An infant feeding bottle nipple must not contain more than 10 µg/kg total volatile N-nitrosamines, as determined by dichloromethane extraction.
Repeal
3 The Hazardous Products (Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples) Regulations (see footnote 1) are repealed.
Coming into Force
Registration
4 These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
