Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to subsection 37(1) ^{footnote a} of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act ^{footnote b}, makes the annexed Regulations Repealing the Asbestos Products Regulations.

Regulations Repealing the Asbestos Products Regulations

Repeal

1 The Asbestos Products Regulations ^{footnote 1} are repealed.

Coming into Force

2 These Regulations come into force on the day on which the Prohibition of Asbestos and Products Containing Asbestos Regulations come into force, but if they are registered after that day, they come into force on the day on which they are registered.
