PUBLIC SERVICE REARRANGEMENT AND TRANSFER OF DUTIES ACT
Transfer of Duties Order
P.C. 2019-1109 July 21, 2019
Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) footnote a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act footnote b, effective July 22, 2019,
- (a) transfers from the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs to the Department of Indigenous Services the control and supervision of those portions of the federal public administration in the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs known as
- (i) the Individual Affairs Branch,
- (ii) the Lands and Economic Development Sector,
- (iii) the Planning, Research and Statistics Branch,
- (iv) the Financial Officer Recruitment and Development (FORD) Program,
- (v) the Chief Information Officer Branch,
- (vi) the Financial Planning, Analysis and Estimates Directorate,
- (vii) the Corporate Accounting and Material Management Branch,
- (viii) the Legislative, Parliamentary and Regulatory Affairs Directorate,
- (ix) the Communications Branch,
- (x) the Security and Accommodation Directorate, and
- (xi) the Evaluation, Performance Measurement and Review Directorate;
- (b) transfers from the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations to the Minister of Indigenous Services, the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations that relate to the National Indigenous Economic Development Board; and
- (c) transfers from the Department of Indigenous Services to the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs the control and supervision of that portion of the federal public administration in the Department of Indigenous Services known as the Human Resources Planning, Performance Measurement and Systems Unit.
