Order Designating the Department of (1) Canadian Heritage; (2) Industry to provide support to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsections 5(1) ^{footnote a} and (3)^{footnote a} of the Salaries Act ^{footnote b},

• (a) designates the Department of Canadian Heritage to provide support to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities relating to official languages; and
• (b) designates the Department of Industry to provide support to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages in the carrying out of all of the other responsibilities of that Minister.
