Order Designating the Minister of Industry as (1) the Minister for the purposes of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act; and (2) the appropriate Minister with respect to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition Minister in section 2 of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act ^{footnote a} and paragraph (c.1) ^{footnote b} of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act ^{footnote c},

• (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2018-1012 of July 18, 2018 ^{footnote d};
• (b) designates the Minister of Industry, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act ^{footnote a} ; and
• (c) designates the Minister of Industry as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act ^{footnote c}.
