His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of Canada in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, makes the annexed Regulations Repealing the NAFTA Rules of Origin Regulations pursuant to

(a) subsection 164(1.1) ^{footnote a} of the Customs Act ^{footnote b}; and

(b) subsection 16(4) ^{footnote c} of the Customs Tariff ^{footnote d}.

Regulations Repealing the NAFTA Rules of Origin Regulations

Repeal

1 The NAFTA Rules of Origin Regulations ^{footnote 1} are repealed.

Coming into Force

2 These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
